The Plans of Mice and Men… and Knitters

From the top

I’m STILL finishing Christmas gifts! One more hat to go. I hate knitting with holiday deadlines looming. My resolution is to START EARLY for next year. Quit laughing. Stop it. It could happen, you know! I did get this nutty hat of Sarah’s done. She thinks it’s great. I think it suits her.

A happy hat for a happy girl.

A Boy and His (almost) Sweater

I knit this one for my sweater-avoiding, hot-natured son. “Look, honey,” I coaxed. “No sleeves! You won’t get the least bit warm.”  He wears it only when I beg.   Or give him candy.

New Year, New Camera, New Blog!

Because there are just not enough knitting blogs out there (ha), I thought I’d throw my cabled hat into the ring. My wonderful husband gave me a fab new digital camera. I’m practically a functional illiterate when it comes to the computer, so this should pack quite a learning curve.

I knit. A lot. More than I should. It’s my job, my hobby (my husband might call it an addiction), and my passion. One of the great joys has been finding others all over the world who “get it”, who feel the same way about this creative past-time. Here’s to 2007. May it be filled with hope, laughter, and lots of alpaca yarn!
